W grandpa is hospitalized again. He has been in/out hospital for the longest time. Recently it has gotten worse. On a few occasions, he suffered from pneumonia, breathlessness, stroke, lung infection and is constantly in NUH's ICU.
Recently he suffered from lung infection again n started being unable to breathe by himself. He was not allowed solid/semi solid food n had to rely on IVR feeding. The dr recommended he stayed at St Luke's hospital where nurses can look after him 24/7.
W just called to inform me he was admitted back to NUH ICU again. This time round a heart attack n dr said most likely it'll strike him again.
W is feeling helpless n I also feel very helpless other than being there for him. He feels that his grandpa is struggling to hold on to witness our wedding.
What can we do?
