Property hunting

Been really busy (excuse for lazy) recently. My bro's a property agent but he's very busy (genuinely making a living) nowadays. So I took it upon myself to property hunt. So other than work hours, I've been spending all my travelling time and sacrificing sleep time to lookup. Very very very busy (really tedious and double hard work for someone who know nuts abt property) researching.
Went for a viewing last Sunday. A maisonette. 157sqm. Huge and spacious and well renovated. Move in condition with minimal touchup. Located within 10min waking distance of train station. Established estate with more than 10coffeeshops, wet market, 2 supermarkets within 5min waking distance. Corner unit. High floor. Unblocked. Greenery view. 3bedroom+1study. Valuation 620k. PERFECT RIGHT?! Cov asking for min 100k!!!!!!!!!!!!! Faint! With 100k, I can easily afford a condo. The last offer was 80k and the owner turned it down. Sigh! Major disappointment!

100th day

It's been 100days since grandfather in law passed on. Time flies. Seems like nothing has changed, yet so many changes has taken place.

What a Thursday.

Fell down. Duper ouch. It was rainy n slippery n I slipped downslope. Landed on my butt with a loud thud. Ended up with a bruised butt, elbow and ego.
Stayed late in office for filming. We are preparing for company retreat next weekend. And the prework requires each team to prepare a short film (3minutes).
There were initial complaints and grouches but we had a good time. The filming was hilarious n colleagues were really game.
Can't wait to see the end product.

Desaru

Been too long since I last saw my family (abt 3 weeks). Since xb is home, I haven't been visiting dad cos xb can't go out yet til his 3rd jab in mid apr.
Miss my family so badly. Thankfully I'll see them for the next 3 days. Looking fwd to fun filled family time at desaru.

A typical Sunday

Have been up bright n early nowadays, including weekends, to feed XB. He's growing by the day n tend to be v mischievous. Here's him n W arguing after he peed all over the floor when we let him out to play (P.S. he's not fully toilet trained n is only allowed outta playpen under supervision).




Anyway we started our day in a v domestic manner i.e changing bed sheets tog. It was quite fun bantering with each other while doing the daily mundane stuff. Then the water pipe of the washing machine burst, totally catching us off guard. Though it was chaotic, we had a good laugh over it.
Then W went to cut his hair n window shopped while I went shopping with my mum. Read of this new Lancôme dolly mascara n tot I'll try it out. Ended up buying Virtuose Drama too
since dolly is not smudge proof.




Then a dress




Then to prep for upcoming trips in April i.e Desaru, company offsite cruise to Redang, n Korea trip.




Then some storage organizer from Howard's for the room n W's boot. My fav household storage shop.




Then off to Don Pie for yummy crab dinner (Pic-less since I was starving).
Then back home to feed XB his dinner, play with him, clean his cage n clean him up for bed, unpacking the items I bought.
N now off to bed blissfully. Pls let life stay like this - happily contented.
